My Dad

This project is a first foray into my late father's life. My father was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease when I was just a young child, so I didn't really know the person that my father was before the disease. This film is about the stories that my grandmother and my mother tell about my father and how I connect and reconcile with those stories. Through this process-aware film, I show that the family stories we tell are elusive and subjective, yet are the ways in which we grieve, process, and move on towards a future.
